What can I say, I'm a geek. I'm all geek, and that's the whole of it.

Played (and still play) three editions of Dungeons and Dragons (AD&D 2nd is the best there IMHO), three editions of Shadowrun (God, I love that game), Robotech, Rolemaster, Star Wars, Marvel Super Heroes...

I'm big into video games. All the Final Fantasy titles that I can get my hands on, I play. I still have the first one that was made, the original for the NES, and still play it from time to time. I love how Square keeps the series getting better and better. Kingdom Hearts, I played 'till the disc wore out and then got another. My copy of Legend of Dragoon isn't faring much better. That was one hell of a game for its time. Madden Football and Dune 2000 are some of the best head-to-heads I've played.

War stories are awesome. Ringo wrote a stellar sci-fi/war series that started with "A Hymn Before Battle." When I can find it, I'm going to buy that whole damn series because, wow. Harry Turtledove wrote a series called "Worldwar." I've read that one a ton, and loved every bit.

I play piano. Yay me.

I'm a Bears fan since I started watching football.

Registered Reformist. Because Republicans are generally idiots, and Dems just don't have enough backbone. But I'd vote for Bill Clinton again in a hot second.

Joss Whedon's work is addictive and must be owned on DVD by anyone that sees it. I, therefore, have every available Buffy, Angel and Firefly on DVD. I'm even part of a couple of forums wherein we discuss our favorite writer/director. Join us!!!
